(Santa Fe, NM)—

The New Mexico Indian Education Advisory Council will hold the first quarterly meeting on Monday, February 27, 2006 at the Northwest Bureau of the Indian Education Division at 907 N. Metro Avenue in Gallup, New Mexico, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

An open forum will be held at 1:00 p.m. to take public comments from individuals who desire to speak on items not on the agenda.  A tentative agenda is available

Due to a menu of conflicting dates during the Legislative Session, at which time the PED will reappraise the format of service delivery to better serve you and your leadership teams, the Statewide Regional Leadership Training Sessions through March 9, 2006 are postponed.  The region five and region six Leadership Training Sessions scheduled for March 14-17, 2006 continue to be scheduled until further notice.
We will reschedule the remaining Regional Leadership Training Sessions as soon as possible.
