Education Secretary García to Visit Constituents from Los Lunas, Socorro and Region 4 of NMSBA

(Santa Fe, NM)--Secretary of Education Dr. Veronica C. García will make a visit to Los Lunas, Socorro and Magdalena, New Mexico, today, Wednesday, March 10. In Magdalena, she will attend the spring meeting of Region IV of the New Mexico School Boards Association (NMSBA), including the Albuquerque, Belen, Bernalillo, Grants-Cibola, Cuba, Estancia, Jemez Valley, Los Lunas, Magdalena, Moriarty, Mountainair, Quemado, Rio Rancho, Socorro and Vaughn school boards.

Secretary Garcia will attend a school district assembly at Los Lunas High School at 1:45 p.m. At 3:15 p.m., she will meet with Socorro Consolidated Schools Superintendent Frank Jaramillo and staff from the Cottonwood Valley Charter School at the school. And at 5:30 p.m., she will attend the NMSBA’s spring meeting at the Magdalena Municipal Schools cafeteria. Her schedule is as follows:
