Public Education Commission Meeting Canceled for June 11;
Governor Declares "A Day of Remembrance of
President Ronald Wilson Reagan"

(Santa Fe NM)—The Public Education Commission (PEC) meeting scheduled for Friday, June 11 at 9:00 a.m. has been canceled due to a declaration of “A Day of Remembrance of President Ronald Wilson Reagan” by Governor Bill Richardson. Governor Richardson on June 8 issued an Executive Order closing all nonessential state offices and granting leave to all nonessential state personnel on June 11 for employees to observe the day in an appropriate manner of their choosing.
