Santa Fe—N.M. Secretary of Education Dr. Veronica C. García will address the State Legislative Education Study Committee (LESC) on Tuesday, August 17, at 1:30 pm, at the Regional Education Cooperative building, in Ruidoso, N.M.

Secretary García will discuss "Revisiting 12th-Grade Concurrent Enrollment," and its importance to provide greater academic opportunities for students, enabling a greater collaboration between high school and college faculty.

The LESC conference is being held August 16-18, 2004, at 1400 Sudderth Drive, in the Regional IX Conference Room.
