Santa Fe—Local public television station KNME has selected Education Secretary Dr. Veronica C. García as its next community leader to join its literacy campaign, “Share a Story.”

She is scheduled to tape her reading of “Don’t Be So Nosey Posey” from Tiger Tales Publisher tomorrow, Thursday, August 5, at 1:00 pm at KNME Studios in Albuquerque.

Public Broadcasting Service’s (PBS) “Share A Story” is a project of the “Ready to Learn” service, partnered with KNME.

Her interpretation will air within KNME’s viewing area, in central and northern New Mexico, and reach about 620,000 television households over the next year.
