2002-2003 New Mexico Scholars Selected From Throughout New Mexico

(Santa Fe, NM)—The New Mexico State Department of Education, in cooperation with the New Mexico ACT Council, has selected 903 high school seniors as 2002-2003 New Mexico State Department of Education Recognition Program Scholars. These students from throughout New Mexico earned a composite score of 26 or higher on their ACT Assessment and have a verified high school grade point average of 3.5 or greater.

“These New Mexico Scholars are to be congratulated for their outstanding scholastic achievements. As they consider future choices for academic and personal growth, we wish them the best. Our congratulations are further extended to the parents, teachers and school communities who helped to chart their course to excellence,” said State Superintendent of Public Instruction Michael J. Davis.

The 903 New Mexico Scholars received congratulatory letters and certificates in April. To see a list of the scholars, click here.
