Welcome to the New Mexico High School Equivalency Testing Program!

Congratulations on making the personal decision to prepare and take the GED® Tests! Millions of people have taken the GED® Tests in preparation for their future, to continue their education, or to improve employment opportunities. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, a person with a high school or GED diploma will earn $7,658 more annually than a non-high school graduate.

The New Mexico GED Testing Program goals are simple: Attempt to increase personal and professional success by opening up doors to better paying jobs, new careers, college classrooms, and a brighter future. Together with educators, administrators, legislators, and employers, we will transform our high school equivalency program into a lifelong learning opportunity.
