DIRECT APPROPRIATION

Direct Legislative Appropriations for capital outlay bureau project funding are targeted for specific projects within the school district. Specific legislators sponsor these projects. Projects funded from these specific appropriations have become more widely used in recent years. These allocations tend to be funded by the general fund or from the proceeds of the sale of severance tax bonds.
